At the southernmost part of Greece, stands the island of Crete. It’s like a world apart, rich in historic events, with clear waters, stunning beaches and mountains; its charm is up there with the best summer resorts of the world. As the largest island in Greece, Crete manages to combine a little bit of each taste into its individual landscape.
There is over 1,000 km. coastline that contains golden sand beaches and isolated coves, as well as incredible mountains. The combination of modern life and ancient lineage means that we could spend the afternoon sipping a cocktail on the beach and then, in the evening, walk among ruins from the Minoan civilization. Crete has so much of its genuine appeal, that it distinguishes itself from the crowded tourist hotspots found in other Greek islands.
