Mom and Dad felt familiar when I was small, so strong and so certain, somehow knew it all. Had all the answers, knew what’s best, I looked up to them, no wrong could be possessed. Their love felt so constant, like the rising sun, a light in the morning that could never be undone.

Growing older now, and things took a sudden turn. Flaws began to show, hence I grew concern. Their choices not well, perfection seemed bent, I started to question all this, and came to an end. Rebelling at times, on things to avoid, feeling misunderstood, falling helpless down the void.

With time I kept drifting off, maturing inside, then I left their safe bubble behind. With this separation, things started looking up; I was growing up, falling in love, but sometimes giving up.
