To a certain point, lack of trust acts as a means of survival and self-protection. These abilities, provide us with the means to distinguish between good and bad, as well as what limits put to trust are essential conditions in order to avoid becoming complicit in our own exploitation.

Problems and “paranoia” begin when wariness becomes suspicion that leads us to live in fear, preventing us from trusting even our closest people.
